The spacious one-bedroom unit I occupied provided ample room for relaxation, particularly after a day spent exploring the stunning Fiordland region. With kitchen facilities in the apartment, my travel companion and I enjoyed the freedom to prepare our own meals while also taking advantage of the onsite barbecue area for a festive cookout. The welcoming hosts offered a personal touch, ensuring our stay was comfortable and hassle-free. Not only was the accommodation immaculate and well-equipped with modern amenities-including a Smart TV boasting Netflix-but the peaceful surroundings allowed for restful nights, perfectly complemented by comfortable beds. The motel's prime location made it an ideal gateway to experience the rugged beauty of Fiordland, providing easy access to popular attractions such as Milford Sound and the Glow Worm Caves. The outdoor picnic tables and expansive lawn provided a lovely setting to unwind with a warm drink, soaking in the natural beauty surrounding us. As we wrapped up our adventure-filled days with serene evenings, I found that Alpine View Motel is not just a place to rest your head-it's truly a hidden gem for both families and small groups looking to embrace the wonders of New Zealand's wild landscapes. Highly recommended for those seeking both comfort and adventure in one stay!
